Nova will guide you step by step with any questions about our e-mobility services. You can easily reach Nova via the “Support” section in the 50five e-mobility app when you are logged in as a customer. If you’re unable to find a solution together, Nova will ensure that your request, including all the relevant information, is sent directly to us so we can help you as quickly as possible.
With the 50five e-mobility app, we provide a smooth charging experience. Set charging schedules, start and stop charging sessions, add your own charging cards (for supported cards), adjust yo ur reimbursement rate yourself, and easily view your charging sessions. In addition, the app allows you to conveniently find charging points within our network of more than 600,000 charging stations across Europe and manage your charging station remotely.

The following charging cards/key fobs can be linked in the 50five e-mobility app:

- Shell Recharge - The New Motion (TNM)
- Shell Card (SHL)
Link your charging card in the 50five app as follows:
- Open the app and go to “My charge cards”;
- Add your charging card/key fob via the “+” icon;
- Enter your charging card number.
Please check whether your card is active and if your payment details are correctly configured in your Shell account (in the Shell app, not the Shell Recharge app).
To ensure your safety, we do not offer this feature for the time being. Remote start/stop is prone to fraud and can be misused without a physical charging card. The data associated with a charging card is owned by Shell, which means we cannot always verify with certainty whether a card belongs to the rightful owner. Together with our technology partner, we are investigating whether we can offer this feature safely in the future.

You can easily calculate how much time you need to charge your electric car. The battery of an electric car always has a certain capacity, expressed in kWh. For example, if the battery has a capacity of 74 kWh and the charging station provides a power of 7.4 kW, it will take 10 hours (74 / 7.4 = 10) to fully charge an empty battery. In the unlikely event that you need to charge on the road, you can often use a fast charger. This allows you to quickly charge a significant portion of the battery so you can get back on your way in no time.
